SCIPP’s Rachel Riley Organizes and Moderates Insurcon Panel on Hazard Resilient Buildings
SCIPP’s Riley recently moderated a panel at Insurcon, an annual insurance industry conference hosted by the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma (BIGiOK). The panel session was titled “Strengthening Oklahoma’s Buildings to Withstand Hazardous Weather: The Problem. The Solution. The How.”, and featured representatives from the National Weather Service, Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS), and the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
New Journal Article Available
A new journal article has recently been published in the AMS Journal of Applied Meteorology by SCIPP’s Derek T. Thompson and Vincent M. Brown. The paper is titled “A Climatology of Gridded Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature for the Southeastern United States” and can be found using the button below. Simple Planning Tool Currently Under Construction
