SCIPP Holds First Stakeholder Services Committee Meeting in Norman, OK

On Friday, June 19, 2009 the Southern Climate Impacts Planning Program (SCIPP) held its first Stakeholder Services Committee meeting which was hosted at the National Weather Center in Norman, OK. The meeting was attended by 8 members of the Stakeholder Services Committee as well as investigators, program managers, and staff of the SCIPP team from the University of Oklahoma and Louisiana State University. The committee provided critical program recommendations and advice that SCIPP will make strong use of entering the second year of the program (July 1, 2009).

Next year's annual meeting will be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana during the second half of June (2010).
