Research dates: 2012-2015
Investigator(s): Carrie Pavlowsky, Mark Meo, Mark Shafer

This project investigated the adaption strategies of political and social systems in Texas to water shortages. This was important because the strategies used by different water management areas can have a huge impact on water resources and water availability. Also, understanding the decision-making process behind these strategies is an important step in preparing for future water crises.
