SCIPP’s 2025-2026 Annual Report is now available!
This report details some of SCIPP’s research, partnerships, and state and local engagement efforts from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. Highlights include SCIPP’s continued collaboration with the City of Shreveport, Louisiana, new partnerships with property sector professionals following the 2025 Hazard Resilient Buildings workshop, collaboration with the National Hazard Mitigation Association to produce resources from hazard mitigation research, and narrative impact stories detailing SCIPP’s contributions to resiliency efforts across the region.
The report also shares some of SCIPP’s engagement efforts over the past year, including the 2026 South Central Climate Resilience Forum (SCCRF), increased collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management and the Arkansas Economic Development Institute, and contributions to extreme heat projects with the City of Oklahoma City, which led to an official mayoral proclamation for Heat Safety Awareness Week in June 2026.
