Southern Plains Climate Science Webinar
Dr. Sam Fuhlendorf of Oklahoma State University (OSU) presented The Conservation Conundrum of Grassland Ecosystems in a Changing World.
Dr. Fuhlendorf holds the Groendyke Chair in Wildlife Conservation and is a Regents Professor in the Natural Resource Ecology and Management department at OSU. His research focuses on understanding the role of disturbance-driven heterogeneity in the structure and function of grasslands, integrating a landscape perspective into the conservation of rangelands and wildlife, fire ecology, and understand how plants and animals are distributed across landscapes.
