This work investigates changes in the frequency of moderate, heavy, and very heavy one-day precipitation events in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Temporal trends were evaluated at both the individual station and climate division scales. Nearly all stations exhibited increased frequencies of moderate precipitation, with mixed results for higher thresholds, especially in east and Central Texas, north into Central Oklahoma, and along the Gulf Coast.
