Storm surge levels were estimated for 2-, 5-, 10-, 25-, 50-, and 100-year return periods along the U.S. Gulf Coast. The analysis indicated a basin-wide surge level of 8.2 meters for the 100-year return period. Southeast Louisiana and Mississippi generated the highest surge levels and lowest surge levels were estimated along the West Coast of Florida.
