This study examined the role of religion as a predictor of psychological trauma and interpretations following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. College students (n = 2881) in the affected area completed an on-line questionnaire assessing personal loss, religiosity, religious affiliation, and interpretations of the disaster.
