Bob Rose

Bob Rose is the Chief Meteorologist for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) in Austin, Texas. LCRA’s primary mission is to provide flood control and create a water supply to citizens who live near the Texas Colorado River and its tributaries. Rose provides short-term and long-term weather forecasts to the water, energy generation and transmission divisions of the company. These forecasts are vital for a smooth, low cost operation. Prior to LCRA, Rose worked as a broadcast meteorologist for KVUE TV in Austin, Texas. He obtained a B.S. in Meteorology from Texas A&M University.
