Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) National Climate Assessment (NCA) Webinars to begin in February

Hosted by the Union of Concerned Scientists and beginning on February 1, a series of webinars will be held on the recently released draft National Climate Assessment (NCA) produced the U.S. Global Change Research Program. The NCA provides a comprehensive assessment of the current understanding of climate change science, including an overview of likely impacts in the United States on a region-by-region basis.

The series will include a national webinar, on February 1, and four regional webinar in the following weeks: Midwest, East Coast, Rocky Mountains, and California.

Please join these webinars to hear directly from authors of the report on the key draft findings, ask questions, and learn more about how you can submit comments on the draft and use the report in your communities. Released in January, the draft version of the Third National Climate Assessment Report is open for public comment until April 12.
